Revealing summer night

Revealing summer night
Together with my camera I have tried to find my way through fog for fourteen years. As an enchanting natural phenomena fog has captured my curiosity for even longer. I do admit, that there have been occasions, when I have sent a few rough words flying at the fog’s direction, because it is possible to have too much of even the best stuff. That happened, when the fog was too thick to drive or to fly with a drone. Anyway, fog usually plays the game of hiding things you can see without it, how much it hides exactly is determined by its thickness. This photo of a Long-eared Owl shows that there is not much that fog can’t do. If it wants it hides and if it feels like it then instead reveals something. I know that I wouldn’t have spotted this low flying night predator on this late summer night hour without help from fog.
