Wishes of children

The time of Christmas parties and wishes is upon us. A few wishes among many similar ones have been echoing in my ears ever since my childrens Christmas parties in kindergarten and elementary school. They went like this: “If Santa came here right now, I would ask him for a snow man!” and “What I want most for Christmas is snow, because then I can ski and build” and then “I would like to go and romp in the snow right now!” Living in Estonia means that this time of year the ground is under a white blanket. And if its not, the soul feels it and there is like a piece missing.
