Reception in Narva

Reception in Narva
Last weekend, at 35 years old, I happened to visit Narva for the first time. I must admit I was a bit nervous, because how should I put it, well when was the last time anybody heard something positive in the media about Narva? Anyway, the reason I was there was a rather large assignment that I wanted to use to add to my collection of aerial images about Estonia with shots of Narva castle. By the end of the first day I heard the first Estonian words, when I happened to chat with boarder guards. When I went to sleep there were drunk Russian screams all around, after all it was Friday night. But this is how the morning greeted me with an amazing sunrise. The sun was out for a total of eight minutes, after that the whole day turned out to be grey. Witnessing such an event really calmed me down and the next day went without any incidents, as did the next two days. Narva is different, but still civilization. Panorama from six shots.
