Nicking apples

Nicking apples
The first snowfall is like an alarm clock to all the animals declaring that they have to speed up work on getting their fat reserves ready for winter. Sometimes that means going to places that are usually out of bounds like gardens belonging to humans. Luckily there was no danger to run into a human in this deserted homestead. A lurking nature photographer notwithstanding. So this moose kept on devouring apples that after several cold spells must have tasted like cider.
