Indeed it was and twice so in this instance. First, thanks to the heavy blanket of fog I wasn’t noticed and secondly because I nearly failed to notice the grazing animal myself. More difficult than making out an animal in thick fog was to find it with my lens and get its shape sharp with manual focus.
