Iceworld
Glacier ice floating in the Arctic Ocean can be very dangerous, because as you know the visible part is only the tip. You go too close with a boat or a ship you can affect the balance of an ice floe as large as a house and it may just re-balance, which means flipping over. So arctic expeditions usually stay respectfully far from picturesque ice broken off from a glacier. In this instance I was lucky, because this chunk, which was the size of a truck had floated into shallow water and got stuck in the bottom. That fact made it possible to approach with a boat. The desire to get close arose due to the work of water and wind that had carved a window like hole in the middle of the ice floe. That window framed a nice view towards snow-covered mountains.
