Good news

Good news from Italy! Yesterday the results of BioPhoto Contest 2022 were announced and my photo of a Ural owl in dark November forest won first prize in the “birds” category. In addition to that, after over forty years I witnessed a new way how it is possible to misspell my surname: Zaceck.

I also took a look at other winners and finalists and was pleasantly surprised by the high artistic level of the chosen photography! There were no compulsory shots of lions, primates and underwater animals in featureless blue environments that sadly are always present in larger competitions for propaganda purposes.
