Discovery
I have been driving past this place hundreds of times during the past 15 years and just given it a casual glimpse and saying to myself: “A nice place, I should check it out sometime.” The places has captured my eye with the rolling hills that are common in Karula National Park. So, finally I took the time to have a look. And behold! Walking over the hills that had captured my attention, I stumbled upon a truly magical view of four-five hills rolling into each other and creating a dry land version of a wave. The sight was so mesmerizing that I devoted three straight mornings and three straight evenings to this place. On every occasion there were a few roe deer with me on the rolling hills and on a foggy August morning, just minutes before sunrise they happened to be in the right place.
Many-many thanks to good Alari Kivisaar, who loaned me his Nikkor 70-200mm F2,8 VRII lens thanks to which I was able to take this photo!
