Blue spring

Spring cannot pass without a hepatica picture. Every spring these blue flowers call out to me and invite me to photograph them. Earlier I have always tried to portray these flowers as close as possible. As years have gone by I have become more interested in photographs that not only show the main subject, but also its habitat. So this year I set out to look for a nice carpet of hepaticas in a picturesque setting. It turned out to be ahrder than I thought, because when using a wide angle lens the carpet has to be very intense.
