Goshawk

This is the bird for whose mischiefs the common buzzard has to take the fall. Yes, the goshawk preys on crows, grouse and also domestic chicken. Its style of attack is mainly a surprise attack, which means the predator itself remains unnoticed. At the same the common buzzard is publicly visibly circling in the sky looking to spot rodents and for that becomes the scapegoat for the goshawk, because there was a hawk and now the chicken are gone.
